Description

Our Hojicha is a gently roasted Japanese green tea, crafted using a traditional high-heat pan-roasting technique that transforms green tea leaves—typically bancha or sencha—into a deeply comforting infusion.

During roasting, the leaves turn from green to warm amber-brown, releasing aromas of toasted grain, hazelnut, and light caramel. The cup is smooth and rounded, with soft nutty notes and a subtle sweetness that lingers without bitterness.

Naturally lower in caffeine due to the roasting process, Hojicha is ideal for evening sipping or as a calming companion after meals — warm, grounding, and quietly soothing.

Tasting Notes

Toasted grain, hazelnut, light caramel, warm wood, smooth finish.
