Description

Harvested in late spring on the slopes of Jungpana in Darjeeling, this second flush expresses the classic profile that defines the region’s global reputation.

Produced from sinensis plants in the garden’s mid-elevation sections, this tea is crafted using traditional methods that emphasize structure, depth, and aromatic clarity. Compared to the lighter first flush, the second harvest develops a fuller body and a more rounded character.

The liquor is rich amber. On the nose, it reveals notes of ripe fruit and soft florals. The palate is smooth yet structured, with muscat grape, honeyed sweetness, and a gentle tannic backbone that carries through a clean, persistent finish.

Balanced and expressive, Jungpana Second Flush is a classic Darjeeling — offering depth, warmth, and a more grounded interpretation of the terroir.
