Description

Dragon Well is one of China’s most iconic green teas, crafted using a traditional pan-firing technique that defines its character.

Unlike steamed green teas, the leaves are pressed by hand against heated woks to halt oxidation. This method gives the tea its signature flat shape and introduces a gentle warmth — subtle notes of chestnut and soft toast layered beneath fresh vegetal clarity.

The liquor is pale jade with exceptional transparency. On the palate, it is smooth and structured, balancing sweetness, light nuttiness, and a clean mineral finish. The texture is round yet precise, with no bitterness when brewed carefully.

Refined and quietly expressive, Dragon Well represents the classical Chinese approach to green tea — depth through restraint, complexity through craftsmanship.

Tasting Notes

Chestnut, toasted soybean, malted grain, fresh greens, soft mineral finish.
