Description

Panxi, one of the highest-altitude villages in Fuding — the historic birthplace of white tea in southeastern China — produces some of the region’s most expressive leaves.

This Wild Bai Mudan comes from nearly 50-year-old tea plants left to grow naturally, without systematic pruning, allowing the roots to reach deep into the mountain soil. Combined with the delicate, slow craftsmanship required for high-grade white tea, production remains limited.

With time, the tea evolves beautifully. Properly stored, its honeyed sweetness deepens, the texture becomes rounder, and the aromatic profile gains complexity year after year.

Tasting Notes
