Description

Grown in the hills of Loushan, this Maojian-style black tea offers a more direct and unpolished expression of the leaf.

Made from young buds and fine leaves, it retains the characteristic curled shape of the Maojian style, adapted here into a fully oxidized black tea. The result is a cup that leans toward warmth and comfort rather than complexity.

The liquor is deep amber. On the nose, it shows notes of malt and toasted grain, with a hint of cocoa. The palate is round and straightforward, with a gentle sweetness and a slightly rustic edge that gives it character without heaviness.

Less about nuance, more about balance, Loushan Maojian Black is an easy, everyday tea, reliable, satisfying, and quietly expressive.
